Welcome to the ACS Fundamentals of Surgery Curriculum®!
The ACS Fundamentals of Surgery Curriculum® (ACS FSC) was developed by the American College of Surgeons Division of Education to allow you to experience common, as well as critical but uncommon, events in a virtual environment.
Working Through the Curriculum
ACS FSC consists of 108 case scenarios in 14 essential content areas. The first few scenarios, or Instruction Manual, will walk you through the functionality of ACS FSC, including essential information that factors into the process of test selection. We recommend you complete these scenarios prior to starting the modules.
The ACS FSC currently Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 11 or later on Windows, Macintosh, and mobile platforms.
For best performance on a desktop or laptop, we recommend the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. For best performance on an iPad, we recommend Safari.
Make sure that you turn off any pop up blockers to properly load scenarios.
