    ===========================
    Basic Child Care Health and Safety will no longer be available after September 26th, 2016. If you have already started, please be sure to complete the course before that date. Your record will be posted and available to DHS within three days of completion. A new course, Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety, will be available September 28th, 2016.

    For DHS Providers this new course will be replacing the Basic Child Care Health and Safety course.

    Licensed child care providers will need to take the new course, Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety, to meet the new licensing requirement for all caregivers and substitutes beginning October 1, 2016. The older Basic Child Care Health and Safety will not meet the new licensing requirement.
