Dear Andy and all,

I am so delighted to announce that I have passed my numeracy test at first attempt!

I didn't get and decimal multiplications as 0.20 x any number or so on in mental section.

I got two horrible age difference questions in both mental and calculator sections.

No two way tables, thankfully.

Two scatter graph and 2-3 other zig zag graph questions (don't know the name of this graph), but they were easy.

Two pie charts, fortunately.

School appointment based time question in mental section only.

Some silly questions in mental sections as the total number was 6. One time was to find the 3 quarters of an hour, and the other was one quarter of an hour. The question asked to answer how many altogether in minutes of the whole number... I can't remember exactly. I didn't know how to do, so I just guessed and did wrong.

Just one or two percentage questions.

In calculator section , there was a table showing 5 weeks and each week had different numbers. The question was that 2a, 2b and 2c is the pass level. There were four options and we had to pick one option. The method was to add the numbers of all three sections and put it in simplified fraction... one of the option was 3/5 to trick us but that was not the right answer.

Not many big statement based questions in calculator section.

Oh yes, one question with combined and individual costs, and something like 1 teacher goes free for 30 students, total 95 students, they didn't tell how many teachers are altogether.
The other question based on the same question was with a changed ratio, 1:20 and how many free teacher go as a combined group?

Honestly, it was not that hard but it was not that easy either as I reckoned. But I passed!

PLEASE do practise as much as possible.

Postpone the test a week or two if you're not ready yet - I postponed mine from 27th Jan to today.

Good luck to all!

Andy, thank you for the comprehensive videos and guidelines.
