Passed my tests on 9th May. Generally, they were not as difficult as the practice tests. I recollect scattergraphs where you were required to determine whether a higher percentage of boys or girls improved their marks between two tests - pre-drawn line of best fit helped a lot with this, box and whisker plots and questions which required you to know how to calculate the percentage difference between two figures on a graph. There was one question where you needed to determine the saving betweeen buying combined price tickets to an attraction or two separate tickets. This fazed me initially as it said that a ‘certain number’ of adults accompanied 95 pupils. However, I think I got this one correct as I just worked with the figures I was given (ie 95 pupils) as there was no ratio of adults to children or any other way of tellinghow many adults were included. There was also asecond question based on this which I think you needed to calculate the minimum number of adults (1 per 20 pupils - so 5) needed on the trip, then 2 went free for every so many paying kids, so calculate cost for kids and adults. Mental arithmetic questions included what percentage is 6/25 girls or boys in class. Hope this helps.
